Is Kratom Legal in New Hampshire?

However, the bill died on the table and never actually took effect. 

Limiting access to minors is a measure commonly supported by kratom advocacy organizations like the American Kratom Association (AKA). In fact, the AKA has lobbied to limit kratom use to adults as part of the Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA), which has been passed in states like Utah, Georgia, and Oregon. 

In 2021, New Hampshire legislators considered implementing the KCPA, which would also impose tight quality standards on kratom products. Unfortunately, that measure also died on the table, so it’s very important for New Hampshire kratom buyers to exercise caution when purchasing kratom products.
